How difficult was the Spanish CLEP and what level did you already speak, read, and write it? I'm just curious if it's possible to attempt to study this one without a background in it. It may just be spinning my wheels and a waste of time when I could be studying for other courses. hilarious

I wouldnt recommend it without really studying. Iam fluent for the most part and thats why i passed. I just gave up at the end because my reading is the hardest part and I lost interest to be honest. But like I listed in the feedback section. Its pretty much knowing the proper response to questions in the audio section. Then in the reading you have to add in missing words in passages, read stories and pick from multiple choice and read flyers and see what they are selling. I would say with no background knowledge use Rosetta stone for the basics of words and maybe a good reading. I think learning verbally like Rosetta would help you. I was going to do Italian next but really isnt worth it since grad school cant take the credits.
Take care
If you have any more questions let me know. I will be glad to help !
