Criminal Justice

Is criminal Justice usually considered a social science if I wanted to use it for my BA liberal studies? Or would making criminal justice a depth make me have a BS?

Thank you

Cj is considered a social science at EC but some of the CJ courses are considered applied professional credits for some reason (like the profiling course, which was a bummer for me because I was hoping to use it towards my psych stuff, but they wouldn't approve it because I maxed out my ap credits.)

Other schools would likely view it as social sciences as well, but it doesn't hurt to ask them directly.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully

You didn't say if you were looking at EC or TESC, but judging by your lingo I'm guessing you mean EC. In that case, at TESC CJ is a social science if it has a SOS/SOC prefix. In liberal arts, AOJ would not be social science, it would be free elective. It sounds like EC and TESC handle it about the same way.
