ECE vs DSST
#1
i am faced with 2 choices for my 2nd concentration.

Psychology by testing
for Psychology, maybe
ECE 355=Psychology of Adulthood & Aging* 3.0 / U
ECE 356=Research Methods in Psychology* 3.0 / U
ECE 357=Social Psychology** 3.0 / U
ECE 459=Abnormal Psychology* * 3.0 / U

Or
History
DSST: Civil War and Reconstruction
DSST: Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union*
ECE 215 World conflicts since 1900
(i have another LL history course already taken)

Reading HISTORY is boring but which of exams are more bearable. ECE or DSST.

I will use that to choose my path. I just want this whole degree D-O-N-E asap!

For me, the psychology tests are easier to study for since they all have major overlap. I don't have any experience with ECEs, but I liked the DSSTs more than the CLEPs.

Judging by your last comment, you probably won't like this idea, but I thought I'd mention it.

With those 12 UL credits in Psychology, how close would you be to a major in Psychology?

Edit: I just checked the Liberal Arts Catalog. It looks like all of these count toward the major, which leaves 3 UL and 15 LL credits needed.

I just took Rise and Fall today, passed with a 60.

If you already have 1 LL history, take 1 more LL, then Rise and Fall / Civil War... that will give you you 12 depth hours.

2 UL test instead of 4.

DSST are easier that ECE, plus IC has them covered.

I was in the same situation.

Good luck.
