ECE/UExcel General Questions

I have a couple general questions about Excelsior ECE/UExcel exams.

1. If you fail an exam does it go on your record? If I pass 2 exams and fail 1 then have transcripts sent to TESC will all three show up?

2. Do all the questions come from the recommended resources in the content guide? If the content guide lists a single textbook as the recommended resource for studying, will all the test questions come from this textbook?
