My daughter got accepted to do dual enrollment at Pierpont. Do anyone know if she could transfer ACE credits with this program? I know there is a minimum residency credit requirement that is different from the BOG program but I am unsure about how things work with dual enrollment. She is going to start with just an English course there.

Yes they accept most ACE credits with the exception of some foundational classes like Intro to College Math. My younger son transferred in several Sophia courses, the CSM course fulfilled the Math 1207 requirement and they also accepted the TEEX Cybersecurity courses. Most classes came in as electives.

@Ebroady23 - You want to review this thread and the links within it for my posts, such as on post #7 (brief overview of Dual Enrollment), #13 (Costs to a Pierpont AALS using Dual Enrollment), and #15 (for laddering up to Bachelors that accept 90 or more credits). Link:

If you're asking about the BOG program, that's where they take a bunch of ACE credit - but your kid won't qualify for that degree because you have to be 20 to get it.
I don't know if they accept ACE for regular degree programs there. Plenty of schools have a single degree or a school within the school that will take ACE while the rest of the school does not, so it's difficult to know what non-BOG Pierpont degrees will allow.

No I am not asking about the BOG program. The registrar says that do accept ACE for other programs. My daughter plan on doing dual and sophia. The when she graduates high school she will be able to apply for a program and have everything already completed.
