Make sure the Individualized Study option is "in something" and not just another version of Liberal Studies. In other words, will it say Accounting on your transcript and/or diploma? If you switch to BSLS at EC, you could get an Area of Focus in accounting. (You'll need to double-check that they offer one in that subject.) It will be listed on your transcript, but I don't think it is on the diploma.
NAP, I would be happy with a BS in BA. I don't think I would be even close to a BSLS.
I really do not want to take another accounting class. I know I just need 1 more class (cost accounting) but I'd rather not if I can help it.
Do I dislike accounting that much? An emphatic, Yes! :reddevil:
I did apply to to COSC last night and am having my transcripts sent over for an assessment.
P.S. I also noticed on my transcript that EC
MISSED a class I already took. I let them know about it and am that much closer. It was for an ethics class. I had been studying the flashcards to take the DSST but will now focus on another subject.

:iagree: Ha ha.. my dislike of accounting is so strong that I actually just skipped through the SL final exam once I felt like I had probably gotten enough questions right to pass the class.
So dissapointed that I ended up with like a 79.4 or something like that in the class. Had I actually tried on the exam, I probably could have gotten a B in the class.
Glad you're getting the process going with COSC! Can't wait to hear what happens..

Hi Pixaloop!
How far away are you from a BSBA at EC? It seems that there have been several graduates on this forum recently.
I see what you mean about a BSLS. It may not be as far as you think, though. The biggest issue would be the 30 UL credits - 21 Arts & Sciences and 9 Applied Professional. Since you already have the ones in accounting, you would just need the ones in arts & sciences. These have gotten easier to earn with the recent change in the DSST options.
I think the BSBA sounds best, but if you are ever interested in the BSLS, I'd be happy to look at it more closely with you.
