Done with Excelsior BS-Liberal Studies! Thanks everyone! Commencement?
#1
I just received my official evaluation from Excelsior and I'm done!

I just decided to finish my degree this last November.

Then, I knew nothing about the big 3, this community, or CLEP.

Every time I had a question or concern, people on this forum helped me immensely.

I really want to thank everyone out there!

___

Here's how I did it:

*93 credits from 3 different B&M schools (I left school about 3 years ago due to financial issues).

*7 CLEPs in just a few months for a total of 30 credits (passed all on first attempt).

-Social Sciences and History (61)
-History of US I (58)
-History of US II (58)
-Analyzing Literature (65)
-Humanities (53)
-Human Growth and development (56)
-Educational Psychology (60)

*Information Literacy through Penn Foster (100% score - an 'A' grade calculated into my GPA!)
___

My degree:

*BS in Liberal Studies with an area of focus in communications and a depth in psychology.

*3.31 GPA

*Degree conferral: May 21, 2010

__

Next steps:

*Commencement in Albany in July (hopefully)!

*Moving to New York City in May! Anyone know of any jobs in news/media/production or a cheap room to rent?!

*Grad school in the future, I'm 25 years old now, I might wait a year or so and save up money for it.

__

Best to everyone! Much love!
