I just ran into that with EC over the last few days.I asked for approval to take several 400 level classes in CJ from Grantham University, but they denied me on the grounds that they are national accredited, so I ended up taking LSU SOC criminology instead, and it is cheaper, but more work.

If I had the time and energy I would fight them on it and appeal it.
