I have a question about graduating from Thomas Edison. I was looking at their graduation requirements and they were saying you have to be enrolled in the college in order to graduate. I'm going for an A.A. and transferring all the credits I'd need for it into TESC. But now I'm wondering, do I have to enroll and pay tuition and stuff to TESC (even if I don't take classes there) in order to graduate? I was under the impression I just had to be admitted and transfer all my credits in in order to graduate with the degree. Can someone help me clear this up? Thanks.

In this situation, you would have to choose the Enrolled Options Plan and pay the over $3,000 enrollment fee assuming you're not a New Jersey resident. COSC will be cheaper, but you would have to take a cornerstone course. Excelsior requires a capstone.

So even if you're coming in with 60 credits that complete a degree plan at TESC you still have to pay basically about 3,000 dollars in order to be able to graduate?

When I transferred in last year, I was told that I had to take a course through TESC in order to graduate. I was grandfathered in before they required the capstones for the Associate's degrees, but I had to be enrolled at least half time (six credits) in order to get financial aid. So I took War & American Society.
Where do you work at? If you are on their list of corporate partners, you would be on the Corporate Choice Tuition program. You would only pay the per credit fee and the technology fee. Thomas Edison State College: Our Corporate Partners
