I've heard that FEMA IS-242 might count as a Communications course. Would a one credit Communication course plus 11 literature credits fill the Humanities requirement? Or do at least 3 credits have to come from an area other than literature?

I was granted 1 credit humanities by Excelsior for completing this Fema course ( IS242 Effective Communication) , which I had transcribed by Fredrick CC.
I am not sure about the humanities requirement though, sorry. Which school are you in and what degree are you going for ? I think the catalogs of each school spells out their humanities requirements.

It's for TESC. Humanities requires 12 credits in at least 2 subject areas. A&I Lit and American Lit are both prefixed with LIT, so I was hoping a one-credit COM credit from FEMA might satisfy the 2-subject area requirement.
Just curious if anyone has done this....
