I'm wondering if EC will accept Straighterline credits? If they do, how do they appear on your transcript ie: graded or pass/fail? For straighterline do you have to do all the weekly work etc or can you just take the final exam and be out, similar to ALEKS? Thanks!

I don't know if EC grades Straighterline courses, but here is how the courses transfer.
Transfer College Credit for Online College Courses to Excelsior College - StraighterLine
I believe Straighterline courses require you to do a number of assignments and quizzes at your own pace.

EC is a partner, they should accept all of Straighteline's courses.
Excelsior College a Partner College - StraighterLine
I don't know for sure if they give a grade but I expect they do (COSC does).

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I believe if you transfer the credit through the partnership, the grades may count. However, if you transfer the grades through ACE, then it's pass/fail. I did the latter. So in my case, I got just enough points to get a 70% and it shows as Pass on my student report. I skipped a number of tests and focused on the final for the most points but they still made me go back and "attempt" the remainder tests. On those attempts, I just started the test and chose "c" for everything. But I always confirmed first through them first that I already had enough points for transfer.

Thanks, does anyone know if there is a fee to transfer the credits through the partnership? I had wanted to take two classes, but they only have one that I need currently available. The other one is still showing as coming soon.

Per Straighterline's
College Credit Matrix, the Credit and Transfer Policy for EC indicates that they accept SL credits as Pass/Fail only.
Of the big 3, it appears that only COSC accepts SL credits for a letter grade. Only three other schools list that they accept SL credit for letter grades, and those are Assumption College, DeVry University, and Jefferson Community and Technical College. For what that is worth.
