I failed dsst business math today. It's really got me down in the dumps. The maddening thing is that if I had more time I am positive I would have passed. And now that I failed, I am behind on my sceduale. Is there anything else I could take instead of taking business math again? I am getting a bachelors in business management from tesc.

I failed that one last year and it scared away from testing for a while. Don't let it get you down. I thought with my background in accounting courses I'd be all set to calculate future value and interest. I didn't need it but wanted to take it anyway. Remember that DSST exams only require a three month waiting period to retest (changed as of several months ago).

I'm sorry about your fail. Check out Aleks Stats, that is what I plan on taking instead of Business math. I'm getting my BSBA from tesc, and we can use both Intro to Stats, and Business Stats for credit.
Don't give up and hang in there.

Don't feel bad, the recently updated (around 2010?) version of the exam has proven to be a thorn in many test takers' sides, including being my only CLEP / DSST fail. I'd suggest finding a really cheap class at a CC or going through one of the other avenues suggested.
I m edumakated thanx to distunce lerning.

I understand, I failed Statistics last year and it really threw me off course. I didn't try again until last month and I passed. Try not to let it get to you (I know, easier said than done). Good luck!

Awwwww... hang in there and don't let it get you down. I learned my lesson from my one and only fail, which was macroeconomics. I also didn't prepare enough and kept hearing about how "easy" it was so I got overconfident and didn't study enough. I quickly learned that any subject that you don't study is difficult!
I ended up getting my macro credits through Straighterline and never went into another test without 150% preparation.
Just make sure you keep on going and you'll feel much better after another test or two! Stick to it!!!!
