TESU does offer a lot of credits for FAA licenses!
Liberty offers an online https://www.liberty.edu/online/aeronauti...anagement/
The tuition is reduced considerably if your son is a veteran or first responder. Last I checked, joining the Civil Air Patrol gives a First Responder discount.
Another option is to finish a bachelor's in liberal arts as fast as possible at an accredited online school and then apply for a master's degree program. Delta State University offers a Master's in Commercial Aviation (MCA) entirely online. https://www.deltastate.edu/academics/gra...grams/mca/
I would at least pay the evaluation fee to TESU and have the credits from his FAA licenses, and other sources posted on an official transcript in case he wants to transfer to another school. I was astonished at how many credits TESU awarded me for airline schools, FAA pilot and mechanic licenses, and military training. https://www.tesu.edu/academics/oplr/plr

Basically, if TESU BALS is not what you're looking for, you may want to look at the UMPI BLS and quickly finish the degree... You can ladder up to the MAOL later if you resourcefully plan the 10 residency classes to use the 3-4 that may go towards the UMPI MAOL.
