COSC Capstone Course Requirement?

I was reading today how this 3 credit course is broken down into a 5-week, 1 credit portion and a 10-week, 2 credit portion. I was hoping to not enroll until Term 2 in the spring semester but I am concerned that I would not have enough time to complete the full 15-weeks of the course. Does this mean I will have to enroll in Term 1 to give myself sufficient time to complete the course?

What is your major?

If your major is Business Administration, the capstone is BUS 499. It is a three credit course. It is offered in Term 2, Spring 2017.
