Degree Planning Advice - Pierpont to UMPI or WGU

Hi Guys, First time here. I am happy to have found this forum please I was getting lost in the sauce. 

So my goal is to get my degree done as quick as possible, currently I am enrolled in WGU Business Management  but I really dislike it and plan to leave after this term and go else where. I was interested in the BOG and possibly moving to UMPI and doing Liberal arts with minor in history or polysci.. Can someone look at my current completed credits and provide me some guidance. 

1. Should I do a few more courses in WGU - by the way the mentor doesn't really let me pick she picks them for me and when I say something she pushes back. hence why I haven't done so many Gen Eds.... I almost feel its to keep me stuck at WGU

2. I wish I had known about shopia and can I leverage that in the transition. 

3. What am I missing and what should I focus on?
4. What classes should I take @ Sophia if I go that route.

Budget: I can make the budget work but I want to be as cheap as everyone else..ie flat rate
Commitments: Full time job, 
Dedicated time to study: I can make the time. I would say 2-3 hours day and all Saturday and Sunday  
Timeline: Finishing ASAP
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: I have all Tuition paid at WGU by FinAid

Sidenote you can request to change mentors at WGU. My wife started at WGU on her bachelors September of 2022 by November of 2022 she had to request a new mentor for the same reason you stated. Once she changed mentors she was unstoppable, graduated in 1 term. She took a term break and will walk with a masters from WGU this May. If she had stuck with the first mentor she would probably still be working on her bachelors degree.

There are some programs at WGU that don't allow for students to pick the order the courses are completed in. This change seemed to really start last fall when I was a student. Changing mentors in those programs didn't really help as they were kind of stuck because the administration changed the rules on those programs.

Merged the two threads, it's best to see if you can get another mentor. I suggest you to see if staying with WGU outweighs other options. I think I would stay and get another mentor for the rest of your studies. Good luck...

You seem to have the base requirements with the exception of 1 more math or science. You seem to have the total credits (61):

The BOG degree requires 3 credits in communications, 6 credits in math/science, 3 credits in social sciences, and 3 credits in computer literacy for a total of 15 credits. You have:

Communications - English I
Mathematics/Science - Stats
Social Sciences - HIS 150 - any of these 3: Meaning of history or Survey of United States History or Introduction to Sociology
Computer Literacy - Introduction to IT

You could take one of the following classes at Sophia to add one more math/science:
College algebra or environmental science or human biology

If you are at WGU, you could take a science or math within your major to meet the requirement.

You've got 61 credits, great job! Make sure to review the WIKI link and verify you have the general education requirements, if you do, then the rest would be all electives. Basically, Review your credits again and compare to the WIKI - You just need to apply for graduation and have them audit you for graduation.

Thank you! I was getting lost in the lines lol, yea after some advice here. I  had a conversation with current mentor which seemed to change things a bit, plus a shift in mindset thanks to this forum. I been able to get 5 courses done in 1 week. Now just waiting for the review of papers I submitted. I will add the science class at WGU and once I knock that out I will reach out to pierpoint. :

I suppose no point in paying for Sophia because WGU doesn't let me transfer in... : and the math class at WGU I have failed so I am pushing that to the end.
