I personally would just take Soc and Spanish there and then be done. And maybe Intro to Finance, since that can't hurt the CFP journey.
If you're going to be handing cash to Study.com anyway, I'd take American Government, something else short like Presentation Skills, and MAYBE Comp I or II (or both). And if you want to take some UL courses anyway to hit the ground running, then it certainly can't hurt to take the UL Accounting courses at Study. Accounting 301: Applied Managerial Accounting will count as Business 220: Managerial Accounting at UMPI, so you lose the UL there. Accounting 201: Intermediate Accounting I and Accounting 202: Intermediate Accounting II at SDC count as UL at UMPI - so you might want to take the courses but not the final exams for credit and leave it at that.
I think the advantage for taking the Comp classes at Sophia is that there is no exam.
Why do you recommend taking American Government and Presentation Skills? Are those UL's? I don't think I need anymore LL's after I do the Comps, Spanish, and Sociology, right?
American Govt counts for 1C and 5A. Presentation Skills is super short and fast and will work as an elective (you're short a few credits; I don't think they take Foundations of Stats, but even if they do, you are 1cr short at that point).

I am nearly finished with Sophia's English Comp I and it's not as bad as I anticipated. It has 5 papers, and they have been graded by different people thus far. I'm going to proceed with Comp II next.

Sophia's English Comp I isn't too bad since you can turn in multiple papers at the same time.
It's English Comp II which is the bad one. Gl.

Eng Comp 2 is nothing like Eng Comp 1! The grading is horrible. It takes about 2 weeks for a paper to be graded. You can't submit any more papers until the one you submitted comes back. It's 6-7 papers. At UMPI it's 1 paper. It takes about 2 months - or more - to complete Eng Comp 2 on Sophia. Takes less than a week at UMPI.

It honestly wasn’t bad. I would say to take English on study or UMPI but not Sophia. I took English 105 on study, it consists of 300 points possible. The quizzes which are very easy you should get 100 points, the three writing assignments which were also fairly simple were 20, 40, 40 points respectively. And then the final is worth 100 points. Passing is 210 points. So for example I completed the quizzes and the assignments and I had 190 points. Going into the final I only needed to score 20 points out of 100 to pass. I ended up with an A, but just an example of how the point system works.

You can submit 1.1 and 1.2 together, but not the others.
I have to wait until January to start UMPI so I'll give it a whirl. If it doesn't go well, I'll drop it.

You got lucky! The grading recently has been taking over 10 days. I see many people complain on social media about how long the grading is taking. When I took it, I had spent 60 days and 1 extension on it when I dropped it. I still had 2 papers left. It took all that time due to grading. I had the papers written waiting for grading.
