I am in need of help with my degree plan if someone would be so kind , I will list below the credits I have already earned. I applied and was admitted to Excelsior, I'm wondering if I should try and pursue this degree elsewhere like (TESU). I'm looking to earn a Finance degree as soon as possible.
Classes completed
Chem 1 - communityC
Bio 1 Lab- communityC
Engl-101 community
UL Drug addiction class- communityC
World History -4 Year
General Elective 4 year
Micro Econ -4 year
Straighterline Macro Econ
Straighterline Accounting 1
Free Ethics Course
It would be easier to do that at TESU. All of your classes from community college will be considered lower level, but you can complete most of your degree requirements through Straighterline, Study.com, Davar, and TECEPs.
Good luck!
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.

Here's the BSBA in Finance from TESU. You cannot fully test out of the Finance area since there are only 5 courses available that I know of. But that's out of 6 courses, so it's not crazy to find an additional course somewhere else - it will just jack up the price $1000 or so. Not bad...

Yea, Analyzing Financial Statements is ACC, not FIN.
BSBA/Accounting TESU (2016). MSA UIUC (2018).
Need help with portfolios? I earned 18 credits at TESU through portfolio evaluations. Nine of those were for upper level accounting courses. My advice for PLA/portfolios: TESU portfolio tips The first post has the Portfolio Checklist I created. Page ten has the actual narrative I wrote to receive credit for ACC-440.
Using Straighterline's Financial Accounting as a substitute for TESU's Intermediate Accounting I? Don't do it if you are an accounting major and/or want your CPA license. They are not the same course and I think TESU has erred in accepting the SL course as Intermediate I. I made this discovery here: Intermediate Accounting II.

For the area of study maybe check your local community college for an online course in risk/tax/financial management or small business finance. Also, I wonder if this UL business exam would fit - uexcel quantitative analysis? Risk/Investment mgmt elective...stretch?
Quantitative Analysis (3)
An introduction to quantitative analysis techniques needed to apply models to actual situations in business and economics.
