Degree Mills that were accredited at some point?

Which degree mills ran their milling while being still accredited? I read at some point Almeda (probably the most famous of the Axact bunch) was Nationally Accredited and then got bought by the Axact guys, but other saying it was a mill from the very beginning.

Was thinking, what other schools went rogue during their time.

We should be bringing up degree/diploma mills as someone might want to 'accidentally buy' one by mistake. I don't think Almeda and their Axact parent ever had proper accreditation before, all the accreditation agencies they 'had' were fake. Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almeda_University
