Degree Finished - Thank You

In fact, I'm using HSLDA's https://www.fasttranscripts.com/ program because if something happens to me as administrator, someone still needs to be able to issue the transcripts if and when he needs them.

My state, NC, has more homeschool students that private school students and more homeschool students than any other state. It's not at all unusual in my area. I'm thankful for that.

Here's a list of homeschool friendly colleges.

Homeschool Friendly Colleges - Directory by State | Home School Facts

I've said it on this forum before; if you want to go to Stanford, you're much better off being a homeschooled student than any other kind. They accept 25% of homeschoolers who apply vs. about 5% of non-homeschooled students who apply. They actively recruit homeschoolers, and have had a written policy for them for quite a few years now. They also accept portfolios from homeschoolers rather than the regular application (or in addition to it I suppose) and have board who looks at every homeschool portfolio individually, and even goes out and meets and interviews homeschoolers who they're interested in. A lot of the other ivy-league schools look for homeschoolers as well (Harvard is one).

I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who are biased against homeschoolers, but there are plenty of very expensive colleges who are NOT biased against them at all. Quite the opposite.
