Degree Completed. Now what?
#1
So Friday was my last day at UMPI. I have completed all of the courses required for my bachelor's degree. It's a really weird feeling to be done after taking so many years to get to this point. While I wait for my degree to be conferred so I can apply to grad schools I'm looking at, what do I do? Today I enrolled in a Coursera certificate program. I guess I really can't just sit around and not learn something. I also did a major renovation to my LinkedIn profile today. What did you do once you finished your degree?

Congrats! I would take it easy until your next educational journey begins... I mean, you've put up the hard work already, relax a bit and recharge, then go at it again with the new degree in mind. BTW, what is the RIT: MPS? Good luck on your next and upcoming studies at UMass Global, I hope they change their name soon from Brandman...

The RIT MPS is a Masters in Professional Studies. It's a broad spectrum program where you have 2-3 concentrations.

Brandman will beginning to rebrand this month. They've already been sending out the emails. I think they will grow in ways they never imagined by being labeled UMass. UMass is HUUUUUUUGE in the Northeast.

That sounds awesome! We have ridiculous quarantines in my state at the moment. And it's cold...it was 30 degrees today. LOL I'm pretty excited for lake weather this summer.

Used it to get on with my career. Started to work on a masters, but realized I did not have the time (mostly the motivation, really) that required. Poured some of that energy I was using for school into various projects that I enjoy.
