Are Dantes Tests all fill in the blanks? If not, what is the ratio of fill-in vs. multiple choice? I ask because I am using the flashcards here on instant cert and I am missing several questions because of semantics. If you were manually grading the test, I would get credit; but because I am not using EXACT language I am getting the answer wrong.
Thanks!

They're multiple choice... The Instantcert flashcards are a tool for learning the content of the tests, not a practice test, in itself.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

I took the official DSST practice exam which consisted of 50 questions. Like I said, I scored a 33 ... but I am wondering how many questions are on the actual test?? According to my school, I need a 46 to pass. Personal Finance was the test ...
Thanks

Personal Finance has around 100 questions. I was revised in 2008 and is no longer on a scale of 20 to 80. It goes from 200 to 500 now, with 400 passing.

I have not taken Personal Finance so I am glad rmroberts chimed in on this one about the length of the test. If you are in doubt about your ability to pass this test then don't hesitate to do a search on this forum of threads about this test. Also, I usually heavily supplement my studying with as many resources as possible. Do some research and see if there are any Peterson Practice tests, REA practice tests etc for this test. The more practice tests you can find the better!! I would be a little hesitant to base my ability to pass with taking only one practice test that had 50 questions. The Peterson tests usually have 3 tests per category with 100 questions per test. This gives you a better idea of where you stand. Check this
SITE for lots of info on where to get practice tests and other resources for dsst or clep. hope this helps!
