Has anyone had a DSST, or CLEP, not show up on your transcript? I took DSST MIS a month ago and Excelsior says they do not have it. I have other tests that I have taken since then already on there. I emailed DANTES and they told me to fill out the transcript request and pay $20. I just emailed them back and told them I shouldn't have to pay to have one sent since they never got the original and that is not my fault. Anyway, has anyone else had a similar circumstance and if so, what did you do?
Thanks,
Doug

Yes, this has happened to me. I had an entire series of Dantes tests that did not show up at Excelsior. It turns out the test center where I was taking them was not entering Excelsior's school code, instead they were putting them into what the DSST rep called a "holding status". I called DSST directly and they released all the tests to Excelsior with no charge. Be sure you tell them that the testing representative entered the school information, not you.

First of all, hope you get that straigtened out... I'm sure that is frustrating
I see you took Dantes Intro to Business. I've only taken one CLEP. Is the Dantes mulitple choice..and what did you think of that exam? Your input would be most helpful.
Thanks, S.

I took Intro to Business also, right after principles of management and principles of marketing. I thought it was about the easiest test I have taken. Everyone is different though. DSST only have 4 answers to choose from so that is nice.
Thanks for the suggestions, I will call them in the AM.

Yup one of the easiest tests I've taken (besides Intro to Sociology). Just common sense, I barely studied. I studied the free Petersons pdf that is posted throughout the board.

Thats good that they took care of that for you. I hope I don't have this issue. I can say that the complete ($20) DSST transcripts take forever to be sent. I ordered all my transcripts on the same day and the others were all sent and received by EC within the week, but the DSST one took over a month.
