DSST Tech Writing - does either school require the essay?

I'm scheduled to take the test next week - I haven't decided between TESC and COSC. (Waiting for transcript eval)
Does anyone know If either of them require the optional essay?

COSC doesn't require it. I'm almost certain TESC doesn't require it either.
