Would this CLEP fall into the general electives category or something more specific? I have seen people mention this exam and thought I would ask. : )

Oh okay. Thank you. : )
By the way, I stumbled on this thread a few minutes ago and it looks like it explains a lot. Hope it helps! http://www.degreeforum.net/specific-exam...-dsst.html

I have seen people mention this exam and thought I would ask. : ) DSST says Natural Science and upper-level, but the category and whether or not it will be upper-level depend on each college's policy. The Big 3 - At EC, it is applied professional (free elective, not arts & science) and is only lower-level. https://www.excelsior.edu/Excelsior_Coll...atalog.pdf Here is TESC's list: Undergraduate Ways to Earn Credit - Thomas Edison State College - acalog ACMSââ¢) Here is COSC's list: http://www.charteroak.edu/Current/Academ...r-list.pdf It's always a good idea to check with your school. This one seems to have a wide variety of possible answers.
AS in 2010 and BS in 2013 at Excelsior College - Transcripts and Costs
MS Biostatistics in 2019 at Texas A&M University - Graduate School Sharing Credit-by-Exam* and Help for Veterans Resources Used - 20+ Exams Passed & General GRE Practice Tests - Available for CLEP and DSST * Link posted with permission from forum admin; thank you!

It was very easy using this thread only. But check with your school to make sure it applies to your degree. I am working on my AS, and it does not apply

Hey!
I just took the test today. It was a breeze, a real piece of cake! Honestly, I studied the InstantCert flashcards materials for probably no more than 5 hours. I didn't even go through all the categories. Just the first 4 or so. Then I read, I think it was Janessa's study guide in the specific feedback forum. Mostly notes on the flashcards, but very helpful. So a total of 5 hours, and passed with a 452. I had little to no prior knowledge of this kind of info, beyond what anyone living today should know. Bottom line: Don't Worry! Don't Fret! It's EASY! Ask God to help and all will be fine!!!

I've taken this exam, which was fairly easy. If you've studied for a biology or other science exam, health will be much easier.

I have taken this and I barely studied and passed with flying colors. I used Peterson's Free Clep Prep.com website and spent about 10 hours taking the tests and reviewing them. Good choice for a test, easy. Also Analyzing & Interpreting Lit, Substance Abuse are easy ones. I also just passed Ethics in America my 31 points. Good luck!
