So what's the latest on using your own calculator on the Principles of Finance exam?
I've been searching what I have access to on the site (don't have access to specific feedback forum) and it seems some people used calculators and some people didn't?
I can't imagine taking an exam like this without a financial calculator! I have the BAII+ Pro, would that be allowed into this exam? The DSST fact sheet only says that nonprogrammable calculators are allowed, doesn't say whether they can also be financial calculators like the BAII+ is.
Oops, I put this in the wrong category, how do I move it?

The use of non-programmable calculators is permitted. I printed this up and showed my testing center and had no problems. You can also guide them to the DSST website, where it's listed under the Finance factsheet.
They probably won't be familiar with the Finance test as it's not administered very often, but they're still required to comply with DSST's rules. I doubt that any testing center would give you a hard time after you show that you're within DSST's rules using a calculator. If they won't let you use it, don't take the test. Find a different center or ask to speak to whoever's in charge. I doubt you'd have to do this, but just in case. You really do need the calculator for the test.
