Ok... I thought maybe I was finished with these kinds of questions but I'm a bit concerned about this one. Ds and dd are studying with me for the DSST Intro to Computing exam. One of us had scores in the 50's on Peterson's practice tests. The other two score in the 60's. Should we all keep the appointment I've made for Tuesday?
I'm wondering how high the Peterson's scores must be to pass.
Any help would be appreciated.
The programming section of the exam is a bit hard to grasp for those of us who would rather be at the ballet. :-)

I've taken this exam and do not remember a strong emphasis on details in programming, which may be a detail Peterson's has just to make sure you're extra prepared.
I'm not sure though. I will say that I didn't use petersons and only gave myself 3 days to study with Instantcert flashcards and googling some terms. It was plenty to pass, which is all I wanted since I'm going at a faster pace. The exam is pretty straightforward, so I'm sure you could probably pass it but if you really want a solid score, more studying will always help!

YOu don't really need a timeline for the intro to computing. I just took it a few weeks ago.
What you really need to know is how networks work together and all the parts of a computers processing sytem.
operating systems were covered a lot too.
I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it ~Voltaire~

Yes, I would say this would be very boring to study for, but on the other hand, it can't be worse than College Math.
Do let us know how it went. I might have this one on my agenda pretty soon. Good luck!

We all passed! Thanks to everyone for your help. I'll post feedback soon but know that the best material, as usual, was the feedback section of the forum.
I love InstantCert.
Now on to Info Systems.
