Hi All...
As I mentioned in a previous post, I have three UL credits left before my EC Lib Arts Capstone.
I had my plan, my plan hit a banghead, I reviewed my plan, I revised my plan... That being said ![Confused Confused](https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/images/smilies/confused.png) milelol:, I came up with one DSST option I hadn't previously considered - Business Ethics and Society.
I just received approval for this exam from my EC Adviser
Is this doable for the non-business-minded? Pass rate seems good, and I assume there is lots of info on IC's Specific Exam Feedback?
For those who have taken this test, I'd greatly appreciate your opinions/reviews? Do you need to purchase the recommended textbook, is IC enough, what other resources did you find helpful, etc.
Thanks so much! ![Confused Confused](https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/images/smilies/confused.png) eeya:

Should be doable, most of it seemed rather obvious to me. Lots of "which of these is the ethical choice? profit, profit, help society, destroy the environment. Pick one."

It's a doable with minimal study. I studied for around 5-10 hours and did fine. Granted there is overlap from Prin of Marketing, Prin of Management, and Intro to Psych but even without that background, IC notecards, exam specific feedback thread and a raid of your local library should be enough (the PassYourClass book is better than average for this test). And since this is your first DSST, consider taking some practice exams before the test. They are great confidence boosters and help you fine tune your study sessions and testing skills.

Thanks so much for the info! This would be my 3rd DSST - but my first attempt at a business-related subject (a subject I admittedly know nothing about:ack ![Smile Smile](https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/images/smilies/smile.png) . I have however, an extensive background with Psych tests, so I'm hoping that that prior knowledge can carry me through.
I will check out the PassYourClass text, along with IC, various practice tests, and any resources mentioned in the Specific Exam Feedback section - I'm notorious for utilizing every source possible for my exam prep!
Again, thanks so much for your help! ![Confused Confused](https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/images/smilies/confused.png) eeya:

It's very passable. I took it yesterday, spur of the moment, with so little preparation I'm ashamed to say, and passed comfortably. I have zero academic background in business.
Much of my test seemed like common sense.

You'll probably do better than many business - minded folks. On account of it being about ethics and all......
