P90x vs Tapout xt VS rushfit
#11
I don't have any gyms near , bout 20 miles away. I'm not wanting to waste tha much time n gas. I had gym membership and never used it. It also snows and I don't want to be on the roads if I can help it. P90x was good but it wasn't high in cardio and took a while to get results. On avg u might burn 300 calories with p90x. Some people I've talk to burn on avg 400 to 600 with tapout. People have also said they have fun with it which will keep me coming back for more. P90x for me gets boring and is very slow with lots of long breaks I. Want something to were I can burn fat and build endurance. P90x is for those who just want to get the tone look who already are slim. The p90x cardio I would run the dvd twice to get a good workout

After a bunch of youtube videos I'm going to try the tapout. I'm not hung up with that tapout brand never cared about them I always like the silverstar warrior and extrem colture brands anyways. Now I just need to find out where I can get it cheap. And when they will be sendin out the 2nd version.... the 2nd one the incorperate medicine balls which when used right like kettle bells can really do some good.

My wife and I got the full Instanity package for Christmas, I'm waiting for her to get home from visiting family up north so we can start. I'll let you know how it goes.

I love P90X. It's different than any video workout I've done because I feel like it was made "by a man for men." This is good for a couple of reasons. First of all, it means that I can get my hubby to work out with me. More importantly, it means that the exercises are pretty simple and don't involve crazy dance moves. Maybe I've had bad experiences but any video I've ever owned has involved some women that are WAAAAY more coordinated than me and I can't get a good workout because I can't keep up with their strange moves. I don't consider myself a horrible dancer, but I like to keep my workout moves simple!

I also like the fact that it builds muscle. I've always tended to do more cardio-based workouts and never considered building muscle, but this works really quickly to shape your body. I noticed results immediately, not just in the way my body looked, but in the way I felt. I get sore muscles from being tense and staring at a computer all day. I get the same benefit from doing an hour of P90X as I do from spending 100 bucks on a deep tissue massage.

So... I can't comment on the other videos, but I really do like P90X. Just be prepared to buy weights and/or bands if you want to use it. Oh and Tony Horton is funny at first, but now I can't stand even looking at him. LOL he annoys the crap out of me and reminds me of my old VP .. ha ha so I just turn off the volume and listen to music.
