So, I'm trying to figure out where it says something that I thought the degrees required - but I can't find the info at either school. In looking at the degree requirements for both schools, I thought it used to say that some of the UL courses had to be in the major, while others had to be in the GE area. Now as I'm looking at the BSBA and BALS degrees, I can find where you must have UL credit, but I can't see where the remaining need to be. It's confusing.
Can anyone clarify for me how it works at either school? I'm trying to learn these degrees better since TESU is becoming unaffordable.

For COSC, 30 credits must be upper level. So if you need 18 UL for your major, the remaining 12 UL can be in any subject (no requirement to be in the GE area).

At Excelsior, each degree map will show you how many upper level credits are needed for each section. Here's an example.
Quote:BS IN NATURAL SCIENCES CREDIT REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 120 credits: 60 credits (21 in upper level) in arts and sciences and 60 credits (9 in upper level) in applied professional courses, additional arts and sciences courses or a combination of both. Concentration: minimum of 33 credits, with at least 18 at the upper level including a 3 credit capstone course and a minimum 2.0 GPA required.

I think what they're trying to say is that you need a total of 30 UL credits, and 18 of those must be in the concentration. Also, 21 of the UL credits must be in the arts and sciences, and that could include the UL credits that are in the concentration.
