This may not interest anyone but me, but I was curious as to just how ACE sends out transcripts to other institutions. Obviously I can always review my courses by logging in to ACE, but I wanted to see what the receiving institution sees.
I requested an unofficial copy of what they sent to TESU and they sent this along:
I thought it was interesting. One thing I noticed, though I suspected no grade/score was passed along, this confirms it.

Cool That is interesting. Guess if you don't make the grade that works, it won't land on the transcript.

I like that they send the course description. Good to know.
Also interesting to see that they send their "credit recommendation" info. I know people sometimes think they send credits, but they don't, and it's helpful to see it in writing.

I don't see it in their website, for sending to the institutions I see it's $20 first time and $15 subsequent ones.
Is there a fee for this unofficial copy? Let me check their website again...

They don't offer an unofficial option anywhere on their website. I had to contact them directly and ask. They emailed it to me within 24 hours and did not charge me.

Thanks for sharing this with us. At this site we're a bunch of info hounds, and many of us find this sort of thing interesting and helpful.

Note to self :coolgleam: : Try to get unofficial copies of Transcripts for personal records. :p
Hmm, when I'm done with my studies, I should get one from ALL the schools I've attended (unless it's been placed with ACE).
It should be from, ACE, Penn Foster, Saylor/Straighterline. I think Penn Foster gives out a total of 5 transcripts free...

Yep. Gotta admit - I never once wondered what it looked like, but it's neat to see.

I kept meaning to request mine for the fun of it, but forgetting. Now that you brought the thread up again, I might get around to it
