I looked at the curriculum and it makes a lot of sense for people that want to move in a CS career or software developer that do not have a related degree.
That being said, there is nothing impressive in the core curriculum, you are really paying for the name here.
WGU MS ITM, 2021.
TESU BACS, 2020. TESU BSBA, 2018. TESU ASNSM in Computer Science, 2018. ---- UPenn MCIT (Accepted in 2018, not pursuing, see story here). NAU MCIT (Accepted in 2018, not pursuing) ----

I agree for that cost it's strictly for the name. I dont think the core courses are interesting.

I think the Georgia Tech MS Comp Sci at $10,000 or their other offering for $7500 is an alternative to this one. I would like to go for this, but at almost 2.5 times the cost, the Georgia Tech MS Comp Sci might be a better offering. I haven't compared the course offerings yet though.
Goals: TESU BSBA GM (Added CIS) and BA Computer Science
BSBA GM - Added CIS AOS (CIS & GM completed) BACS & Grad Plans (BACS instead of BALS w/NSM) AAS ACS & ESST: Remaining - Associate Capstone ASNSM CS: Completed, ASNSM Math: Remaining - Calculus I Taking a majority of credits at Sophia.org, SL, and Study.com to finish these degrees Updating my courses remaining by following forum advice, guide, spreadsheet & wiki

I don't think it's designed for the same people, arguably, people choosing this degree would not be able to get in the OMCS
The uPenn courses are basically things you would need to know before applying to the OMCS

This is aimed at people who do not basic computer science background but want a masters in computer science. I'd agree the gatech program looks more interesting, but this one is still cheap for a masters of this caliber and fits a need that's different from the gatech program.
Currently studying for: Still deciding.
