When I went to log in to my Coursera account, I saw a notice for $120 off of Coursera Plus, which would make it $279 for a year, just in case it might be helpful for anyone here.

Thanks for spreading the word! Now I just need to refresh myself on what is and isn't included under coursera plus.

I already signed up for it about 2 weeks back. It doesn't include all the specializations, but it includes all the ones I want to do. They sometimes do 50% off ($199) but I don't want to wait that long, because I don't know when they'll do that again. I can deal with paying an extra $80.

Not long ago a few specialisations that were not part of Coursera Plus were added, the IBM ones are notable, I think some others - I'd say it's a pretty good deal if you want to take your time.

Hmm, so much on my plate, so little time to get more stuff, must resist in renewing membership for everything... It's no longer a buy now, think later, strategy...

Coursera Plus is having a 40% off sale, not exactly up to 50% off like the previous deals, https://www.coursera.org/courseraplus/sp...al-40-2024

I wonder if they'll do a 50% off sale on Black Friday... Do you know if they did it last year?

They did. I think it was in December, but I missed it. I was planning to wait for the next round, but got impatient and took the 40% deal.

If you can wait for BF in two/three weeks, then take it then, if not, this is a pretty good deal already...

I see 65% off through https://www.coursera.org/courseraplus/sp...-promotion
but only select countries are eligible (not United States, but eg. France and some other EU countries are eligible)
