Could use some advise on a degree to pursue

I've seen a lot of stuff in Austin. It's a great place for government jobs since it's the capital. I should put more effort into applying up there; it would be just as long of a commute to San Marcos where I go to school.

You can create a BSBA LDAS in Security Management, but they are very picky about what kind of courses they'll accept. They won't just take CJ and homeland security courses. The courses have to directly apply to things like physical and corporate security.

I know Penn Foster has some Private Security courses but they're LL and not really what I'm interested in.

CJS135 Introduction to Private Security
CJS245 Security and Loss Prevention
CJS265 Security Management

and APU has several UL Security courses and a Security Management major.

I would love to find something similar to the John Jay College of Criminal Justice Master's in Protection Management on the undergrad level, but I think it will probably take way too long... I need to finish at least on Bachelor's degree by the end of this year.

I'm not far off from getting my degree... I just wish all my courses would fit in the right area.... UGH

They are LL at PF, but they might not be LL at TESC.

Do you think an LDAS would hurt my resume instead of getting something more well known like CJ?

Your actual major would be business administration. The LDAS part is just for the specialization.

If I remember correctly weren't you denied for a security management LDAS sanantone? Did they give you any hints of what types of courses they would accept?
