Cornerstone and Capstone
#1
I’m going to be starting at Excelsior in March. My plan is to transfer in all 113 credits and do their 7 credits to graduate. I already have everything mapped out to transfer in smoothly. One question though, am I able to do all three courses in the same term? Or do the Cornerstone and Capstone have to be separate?

Has to be separate and what degree are you going for?

Could you possible send what you have taken so far to potentially transfer in 113?

Is this for personal knowledge so you can copy? lol.

Mainly Sophia, a few upper levels from Saylor and Study. I actually have more than I need and I did that on purpose so I could avoid any mishaps with credits. It’s not too hard to map to Excelsior. I’ve spoken with them on the phone and got a bit of info. In conjunction with my calls and their online info I’ve deduced down what I need. 30 total upper level, 21 of which need to be business. For a concentration 9 of those 21 need to be in that concentration. The rest can be lower levels as long as you meet the gen ed requirements. I’ve done all the humanities, math, business on Sophia. Half the Social Sciences and a few science classes. I’ve been studying to do the Saylor exams which are $5 each. I’ve done the Sophia equivalents to help(since Sophia’s are considered lower levels on some of the business but upper on Saylor). Then I’ll be on to Study.com to finish my finance core and collect a few more credits for good measure. I believe in total at Sophia I have 111 credits and 9 through Saylor at the moment. When I’m finished I’ll be at about 140-150. I also plan to continue on with another degree and masters through Excelsior.

Update: Study.com has really comprehensive courses. I’m enjoying them more than Sophia. They are longer but I can’t really fly through my core anyhow lol.

That's the reason I recommend the Sophia.org and Study.com combo, Sophia.org for general education/electives and the lower level requirements. Study.com for upper level requirements and classes that aren't offered at Sophia.org for max transfer into the institutions we recommend. Excelsior may become more expensive with these changes, my recommendation still remains investigating TESU/UMPI instead. Further to that, Excelsior Masters are expensive, more alternatives at better prices...
