My high school daughter has completed some classes through Coopersmith. Has anyone had luck getting those courses accepted anywhere besides the Coopersmith partnership schools? We have some schools near us that say they consider NCCRS credit, but I don't know how likely that actually is.

TESU is not
listed as a partner/affiliate school by Coopersmith, but
TESU lists Coopersmith as a provisionally approved provider and Coopersmith courses are often part of TESU degree plans here.
Two things that indicate a decent chance a school will take Coopersmith: If a school policy describes taking NCCRS credit. (The prominent exception is Charter Oak which specifically disallows Coopersmith.) And/or, if a school is a listed partner of a different NCCRS provider (
such as LawShelf).

It takes some dedicated research. A lot of schools say they take ACE or NCCRS, but in the fine print, they only do so for vets, and only when it appears on a military transcript. In your shoes, I'd ask the schools point blank if they will take the courses your daughter has completed. It may take some doing to find the right person to ask.

That's correct, many institutions (probably up to 1300 as per their website) take NCCRS credits, but it depends on the classes and credits taken, if it applies to a cert, degree, or not. Coopersmith lists some partners, you want to see if some schools in your area or schools of interest takes them by emailing their admissions/advising departments to find out.
