Thanks, I dedicated that post to someone special... An inspiring poster who shared her story of success since last year. It was one of the posts that really struck me to get up and go for my degree, so I started my process this year.

I am actually also looking at your number, and have been for some time... if someone misses it, I'll be sure to congratulate you as you are one of the most supportive forum members here with awesome advice. Thank you for your giving nature.

My 7000th went by without so much as a cupcake.:hurray: I'm not disappointed though, I know at least one member watches my number like a hawk. LOL

I'm surprised there is anyone caring enough to watch people's post numbers, but everyone has his or her own quirks. I think you watch others' posts more than you think people watch yours. I wouldn't normally think someone would be interested in monitoring my posts because I'm not that special and don't have tendencies toward paranoia, but I guess it's a thing since you basically admitted to watching mine.

You have the highest number of posts by several hundred. One can easily see who has the highest number of posts by looking at the member list and sorting by number of posts. I just looked today, and it's the first time I've done so in a couple of years. I think you accused me trying to up my number of posts in another thread, which completely made no sense to me. My number of posts per day has gone down over the past couple of years. There was one period when I was posting very little, which Proloko once pointed out. You also said I only had 400 more posts to go. To get to where? 6800? That's a random number. I couldn't care less about matching your number of posts. There's no prize in it, and I had no idea you had the highest number of posts until today. Maybe you get a cookie or something, but I have more important things to do than to try to rush to 7,000 posts.

I stopped paying attention to my number of posts after I reached Empress status. With working full-time, completing a PhD, and finishing another associates and bachelors, I don't have as much time as I used to for posting, but I still try to provide helpful information, occasionally.

My posts number doesn't show anymore, but my likes given exceeds my likes received by a 4:3 ratio, so I'm proud of that. Smile

I see your post number- it's next to the thread number. I like to look at likes ratios too. I like helping others.
