Confused on TESC upper level requirements

I read on a few previous threads that Upper Level credits are defined as those in the 300 or 400 level. Introduction to religion (Straighterline course REL101 transfers as "Introduction to World Religions REL-405" per SLs course equivalency guide. Does that mean it counts as an Upper level class?

That should count as upper level, however the REL has to be applied in your "Area of study" An example of this would be if youre getting a computer information systems degree REL wont count at one of the 12 UL computer credits yoneed, but I would imagine it would be applied to a social scrience degree (provided the Religion class isn't added to your "Civic and Global Learning")

That is great information and im glad to hear it! So UL credits cannot be used in the gen ed part of the degree and still count towards the 18 min? Im going for liberal arts degree. In order to utilize Straighterlines Business Ethics for my upper level requirement, what can I take to satisfy the ethics part of the Gen ed requirement that wont duplicate it? Can DSST Ethics in America be used with SLs Business Ethics in the same degree?

I believe DSST Ethics in America has been used before by business majors with Business ethics. It shouldn't duplicate. Two business ethics courses may duplicate. In the past the Liberal Arts AOS required 15 UL electives (300 or 400) plus the 3 credit capstone which led to 18 UL credits. That may have changed with the new requirements but not sure.

He is right DSST ethics in america is not an overlap of SL business Ethics, Ethics in America is my back up incase I fail ETH-210 TECEP this next month.

Okay, when I use their system and say I want to transfer to BA Liberal Studies it says my REL-405 goes into

TESC is confusing me on the UL credits, says 18 on the degree page but 15 on the transfer page

I believe its saying 15 because its not counting the 3 UL credits from the capstone.

I think i clicked Labor studies instead of liberal... i'm a dumbass everything I have said previosuly is wrong. with that being said. I have all the credits for this degree except the capstone lol, ( or will have it when i complete the classes I'm taking) Here are 4 easy UL credits that will fill your degree requirments.

1. REL-405 World Religions 05/19/15 CR 3 ( STRAIGHTERLINE)
2. COM-300 Intro to Business Commun. 05/26/15 CR 3 ( STRAIGHTERLINE)
3. MAN-311 Organizational Behavior 03/17/15 CR 3 ( STRAIGHTERLINE)
4. BUS-302 Business Ethics and Society 01/01/14 A 3 ( AMU, but I would do STRAIGHTERLINE if I didnt already have the credit)

Thanks GingerbeefE- I am trying to build my degree plan at TESC for a Liberal Studies degree, it's hard to get the information on what courses fill the requirements. The advisors don't volunteer anything.

The BA Liberal Studies is very flexible. Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences/Mathematics. Certain CIS (Natural Sciences) and Business courses (Communications/Psychology/Ethics) will also fit. There are plenty of TECEPs, Excelsior tests, Straighterline, DSST, CLEP exams and Saylor. Edx now offers 3 math courses that are UL (have to be taken at certain times/similar to a semester). A free insurance ethics course that I believe transfers in as UL Philosophy elective, 2 credits. The capstone has to be taken at TESC but everything else can be transferred in, if you want.
