Computer Science Electives
#1
Hi all!

I realised an assumption I made may not be correct.  The assumption was it would be obvious on what would count as a elective for the BACS, however it dawned on me that this may not be the case.

So is it anything that starts with ITS, COS, CIS, CYB, CLD counts for CS Electives in the BACS, with the 100 and 200 being LL and 300+ being UL?

Thanks!

Basically, It really depends on the class, I do believe they look at the course name, number, and the contents of the class. Not all the classes in each of these three letters will go into the BACS and count for CS electives. Only way to find out is to have someone complete an evaluation and inform us, most of the time, someone will then update the WIKI with this information...

ITS and CYB do not count, they consider those more applied/professional courses rather than arts and sciences courses. I mean, they count as credits toward your degree, but not in your major.

COS, CIS, and CLD all count in your major.

I have my evaluation and i can tell based on that i took all Study.com (using Bryn Link) and all AI, Cybersecurity, network etc courses and TESU considered it as UL electives.
I have my evaluation and I can paste it here, but the problem is that I have my UMPI MAOL that TESU also considered Free upper level credits.
BACS - TESU Transfer Credit 243 but only require 3 credits for (LIB-4970) Capstone Project (117 transferred towards degree) to complete the BA in Comp Sci.
PhD—Morgan State, waiting (in 2nd round now)
PhD - University of the Cumberlands—Quit after some courses (Poor faculty and grading quality) and retain the ABD status
MAOL - UMPI
BBA - UMPI Accounting
BLS - IT & PM UMPI

MSc - e-Business Abrdeeen University
BSc - Infornation Technology  Univesity of London
