Completed 20 classes this term

Well I finally did it. I had been planning and working on my Pierpont, TESU, UMPI, Sophia, SDC, etc. plan since October 2022.
I finally finished the UMPI portion.
I did this last term, Summer 1, 2024.
After fighting and attempting to transfer in as much as possible to get the total class count needed to a minimum so that I could pick whatever else I wanted to reach the 10, I finally signed up. (Yes, I know you have to take a minimum of 10 classes. I'm so tired of every time someone responds with, "You have to take 10 minimum"... I know that).
I signed up for the BABA in Management and Leadership.
I completed 50 courses on Sophia, 12 on SDC, CSM Learn, and 1 on Straighterline.
I only needed 6 required classes to finish with UMPI, and 4 of anything else.
The classes were much, much, much easier than I had anticipated. Obviously some being longer than others (BUS 325, & BUS 489).
I ended up adding on a History Minor, and a Project Management Certificate.
I completed 20 classes in the term, while also being enrolled in 2 classes at TESU.
I started taking classes that I didn't need at all just because they sounded interesting, like Federal Taxation 1.
Grades are being posted now, But from what I can see, I got all A's, except one A Minus.

If I could give myself advice 2 years ago, it would be to skip SDC completely, and go straight to UMPI after Sophia.

I'm assuming you didn't take any English classes at UMPI?

I'm considering doing two upper-level English classes on SDC to reduce my workload at UMPI, but I haven't been able to find much in the way of other people's experiences with the English classes, specifically, other than that they are more time-consuming than the classes in some of the other disciplines.

If you are trying to finish UPMI in one or two terms, we usually suggest reducing it to as few courses as possible.

If you have a Pell Grant, work is paying, or money doesn't matter, then it may make sense to start UPMI sooner so you don't miss the start date of the next term.

Also, it depends on how many hours you can commit to studying each week.

I wonder how many courses did you have open at one time?

I got my first Bachelors through TESU.
And just finished second with UMPI;
Currently working on third Bachelors with TESU.

I wonder how many courses did you have open at one time?

Once I found out that you could have more than 2 classes open at a time, or 3, or 4, etc; that became my strategy to get as much done as possible.
I would focus on getting to one classes Draft Final, submit it, and immediately request a new class.
And not worry about finishing that class until I had nothing left to do on other classes.
So I would request a new class, then do the second open classes assignments, wait for milestones to be graded, submit Draft final, request new class. Then start working on that class. There were times when I had 6 or 7 classes open, just waiting to make changes to the Draft Final so that I could submit the real final.

BUS 200 Intermediate Business Comput - I wasted 4 days on this, and then another 2 days redoing the final. (poor directions in my opinion, only class I didn't get an A or A+ in)
BUS 325 Financial Management - Medium length 2-3 days
BUS 335 Organizational Behavior - Medium length 2-3 days
BUS 343 Project Risk&Cost Mgmt - Pretty difficult class with assignments that required a lot of research. Took about 5 days
BUS 377 Federal Taxation - The required exam website was down so that was waived. But the final project of doing the taxes was very confusing and difficult. Took me 5 days.
BUS 378 Federal Taxation II - (Dropped, was too long, and didn't need)
BUS 400 Project Mgmt Applications I - Fastest class, 1 day
BUS 401 Project Mgmt Applications II - Fastest class, 1 day, same as BUS 400, but you have to pick a different project to write about.
BUS 440 Business Analytics - Easy, 2 days
BUS 469 Strategic Professional Communication - Medium, 2-3 days
BUS 489 Business Policy and Strategy (13 milestones, second longest class, next to Cold War films)
HTY 370 Arab- Israeli Conflict - Easy, 2 days
HTY 439 The Vietnam Wars - Easy, 2 days
HTY 456 Films of the Cold War - (My longest class, took 8 days, working all day on it, watching all the films and videos. Don't be fooled by people saying it's easy, there was about 12 full length movies you have to watch, and then like 20 to 30 shorter videos. And you have to cite the exact moment of the film you are referencing. Very tedious and time consuming.)
HTY 489 History of Infectious Disease - Easy, 2 days
MAT 140 Mathematics for Business - Easy, but the grading was so slow this class took me a week to finish because the grading took forever. Could have been done in 1 day.
POS 211 Intro to Political Thought - Easy, 2 days
POS 301 European Gov & European Union - Easy, 2 days
POS 332 Constitutional Law - Easy, 2 days
POS 335 Modern Political Thought - Easy, 2 days
POS 343 Marxism - Easy, 2 days

I did not do English at UMPI.
But funny story, I ended up having to take the same courses 3 times essentially.
My community college from 20 years ago did quarter terms, so UMPI wouldn't accept either as they were 2.66 credits each.
Then I did ENG 105 at SDC. And they counted that as an elective.
So I ended up doing Sophia's ENG 1 and 2. Very long on Sophia, do not recommend.

Why 3 bachelor's degrees? Will you level up to a master's at some point in the future?

Films of the Cold War can be done in a couple days. You dont need to watch ALL of the videos to get the gist and write a few paragraphs about the prompt.  It's wild that this was the longest class lol. But the POS classes you took are basically a couple paragraphs and a few YT videos so it makes sense.
