Definitely an interesting read.

Thought it was fascinating and I think he made some excellent points. Branding and credentialing from top universities is the reason to go there. You can get a high-quality education at a lot of different places, however some offer further job growth and income earning potential more than others. Corporations have a responsibility to the shareholders to continue to grow, if in the estimation of the business this is an untapped market that they can expand into I have no doubt that they will.

Maybe the colleges and universities should start taking over the businesses. Use the endowment to buy startups, especially if they are religious and don't have to pay taxes.

The problem is too many startups go broke.
