Excelsior Question

Hello All,

I was wondering if some one can tell me that if you are coming to Excelsior from another RA college with your AS completed, will excelsior still require the WER and info lit towards its BS. How about the Engilsh comp 1 and 2 component?

If the college you got your AS from accepts Freshman comp WITHOUT essay,for its eng comp 1&2
will Excelsior say that you need Eng comp WITH essay to fullfill the eng requirement?

Hi,

I can say that EC accepted my ENG101 from my local CC many years ago and gave me credit for it so I had met the requirement for them. I did have to do the Info Lit when I changed my major even though I had been with EC for a few years. I foolishly did the EC course before I found this wonderful group and learned I could have done it for a lot less through Penn Foster. It was a breeze and in my opinion doesn't really demonstate any skill set that is truly necessary. I think it is just an easy way for them to make money and an easy out if someone fails to do the proper research for a required class or thesis paper.
