Need Help
#1
First, let me thank everyone for their help. I decided to complete my degree after 20 years because my children guilted me into it and I absolutely could not have reached this point without all the information and support provided by the people on this site.

I am at the point with TESC that all I need to complete a degree , are the 3 "ethics" courses for a liberal arts degree and the capstone.

It is extremely important that I complete my work by the end of the next semester. However, I work between 60-80 hours per week and do not think that I will have the time to handle all 3 courses as well as the capstone within one semester.

Am wondering if there are any clep or DSST exams that I could take to fulfill those 3 ethics requirements while I am waiting for the semester to begin.

Thanks in advance !!!

Yes,

CLEP Intro to Sociology
DSST Ethics in America or Business in Society
DSST Intro to World Religions

The above are four of several courses that can be used for this area. It is called the personal and social responsibility requirement. If you search the forum you will find additional courses that will fill this.
CLEPS Passed: 10 DSST Passed: 11 TECEPS: 1

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Passit1,

From your signature I would assume Business in Society did not duplicate DSST Business Ethics and Society exam. Would you mind sharing how the TECEP was coded on your unofficial transcript.

I'm enrolled under the comprehensive plan and asked for pre-approval for everything via email before I did it.

This is a copy/paste of the email I had sent for preapproval :

Date Created:12/25/2014 11:10 AM ESTSubject:BSBA Operations ManagementDetails (Please be specific):

Hello - Happy Holidays!

Would the following credit-by-exams be applicable for my academic program?

Personal/Social Responsibility
DSST Business Ethics & Society for Responsible Ethical Leadership
DSST Introduction to World Religions for Personal and Social Responsibility Elective

General Ed Electives
TECEP COM-210 Public Relations
e-Pack SOC-210 Marriage and the Family

Core
DSST Principles of Finance for D: Principles of Finance
TECEP BUS-311 Business in Society for G: Bus in Soc/Int'l Mgt
TECEP BUS-421 Strategic Management for H: Strategic Mgt

Specialization
TECEP OPM-301 Operations Management for A: OPM Requirement

I was concerned about the duplication even with the pre-approval, so when they put the DSST in the Business in Society spot, I emailed right away. They moved it to Responsible Ethical Leadership and when I took the TECEP, it went right into the right place.
