Would going from Harvard to BU be a huge step down?

Well, my brother is going there for his masters and the neighbors kid is going to. I am thinking about taking advantage of some of it's programs too.

It's just the opinions vary wildly when it comes to this school's academic reputation.

I just want to know where it stands overall.

If your plan is to also attend an american university, Great. I don't think anyone here can offer you any more advice than already given. At this point you might want to begin sending out your transcripts to maybe the top five colleges that have the top five degrees you are interested in...Other than that, please stop wasting others time on questions about your brother/neighbor (?)....if they have questions I'm sure they can ask for themselves. Folks here are working to finish their own degrees and/or help others who are doing the same.

I am not trying to be snarky but please cut us a break and google a boston university forum. They would be more able to answer your questions or even better, contact an admissions counselor.
