Hi, I was wondering if anyone has transferred Clovis psychology to TESC? I am working on my PSY degree and was hoping that I could take psy clep also without over-lap.
Clovis CC Class Reviews:
Psychology online at Clovis is no joke. Lots of reading (100-120 pages per week in the 8wk course), 14 weekly discussion questions that need to be well thought-out, 4 exams, and 1 essay. It is not proctored, but the exam time is too short to be able to look up answers in the text. I've really enjoyed it but it is a lot of work time-wise.
Ethics online at Clovis has been much easier. I'm in the 8 week semester so it's more work at once than the 16wk. It includes weekly reading of about 40-50 pages, online quizzes that are 10 questions for each chapter (2 per week), 2 essays in APA format, and 2 weekly discussion questions on the blackboard/canvas. Also not proctored because no exams, just weekly quizzes. My teacher is Ms McGill
For both classes it was $396 for out of state tuition, but I was able to use my pell grant. I rented one textbook for 35 and bought the other for 60 with guaranteed by back.
