CLEP's and aviation all good and well, but don't forget to mention a word or two for DSST's. When I went to take my DSST's a couple of year ago, I saw a gentleman that was testing for his pilot's license. My focus is on flying through the Internet.
Actually, I have watched a few of those stunt airplane pilots on youtube. Being a pilot is not what I considered to be my forte.

LOL! I hear you nleamons! My mom is afraid of heights…there is no chance she'll fly in a small plane…even with me! She doesn't even like climbing on ladders!

Getiton1, I can understand that. However, height is not that big of an issue for me as, I once climbed up several ladders with each ladder taking me higher. I was at a park on that particular vacation. Besides, I prefer water-only vessels. Although I do like to watch the sea planes that are in some of the movies that I have watched, take off.

Thanks for the info. I'll do my instrument at some point. I have purchased and watched tons of videos and have the Sporty's IFR online course as a subscription. I also have the GLEIM course and the Dauntless iPad app with audio. I tend to overstudy. You guy should see my simulator setup. I have a 32" LCD tv, a Cessna yoke, rudder pedals, and throttle/mixture/prop pitch control with switches. It was helpful to a point in my private training but I think the simulator will really help when practicing approaches, holding patterns etc. If anyone wants to get back into simulator flying I would highly recommend subscribing to pilotedge.net. I got the free subscription and let it lapse. It is really good for instrument training as they have live ATC on hand to direct you. I haven't used it for instrument but I have used it for basic towered field VFR flying and it is pretty cool. You can hear the IFR guys getting and reading back clearances etc.
Burbuja - the Vette is paid off and is a daily driver. I am not really Vette crazy right now as I can only focus on one hobby at a time

Oh yeah I am at American Military University now working on a graduate cert in Space Studies. I can transfer the credits into a masters if I choose to continue.
It is very cool.
I am taking Intro to Space Studies and Research Methods in Space studies. I started at the beginning of the month and am doing well. The pace is a bit slow for me though.
