Hopefully they will tweak those courses and get them reevaluated for upper level. But it is a fool's game waiting for that which may not come when you are so close.
Classes at TESU can suck from a busy work perspective and of course they are expensive on a relative basis but if you only need one or two you have already saved thousands to tens of thousands so why not? (I'm speaking in general not about you personally)
Good luck with the networking. I feel bad for all those people who have reported failing it.
I definitely wish SDC had more UL CS credits. This is very annoying. One of the reasons why I went with CS over IT or another BS degree was to avoid physics/chemistry! They're interesting subjects, to be sure, but they're difficult classes to find and take (especially while abroad) without even considering passing.
I'm not sure how the SDC physics is but it looks like you can transfer those in and then just take the labs from TESU. That wouldn't be terrible.
The labs only use a tiny fraction of the kit they tell you to buy. You could probably source everything you need locally.
I just took them from TESU but I get the ALPA tuition discount so they weren't insanely expensive. Comparatively speaking they are some of the easiest courses I've taken.
It is interesting that every path has at least one roadblock. I guess that is why so many people end up with a BALS. Personally, I'd prefer a more marketable degree. But any degree is probably better than no degree especially if it didn't cost as much as a house.

Physics I/Chem I are easy to get alt credit for. But you can't get Physics II/Chem II with alt credit. If you could, I'd be tempted to go with IT because a BS usually trumps a BA.
You're definitely right that a BALS is better than no degree. Especially when you're paying less than $5k for one (something that is absolutely possible now, even with the residency waiver hike at TESU). I do feel sorry for all the kids who get tricked into paying tens of thousands of dollars for a BALS at B&M schools and going deep into debt because they don't know what else to get. A BALS just isn't going to be worth that much for most people. Worth a few grand? Yes, absolutely. Worth a house? Absolutely not!

SDC PHY-112 transfers in as TESU PHY-114(Physic's II).. I'm abroad as well and doing Physics I &II via SDC + TESU 1cr labs, Chemistry via ASU.
SDC Physics is... well still SDC, some chapters are longer than others, and the majority of the videos bust the 7 minute mark, but it's tolerable... PHY-111 has 128 quizzes, I'm on 54/128 as of today...
Saylor also offers a Physics II course that transfers to TESU, based on the general consensus about Saylor, that suggestion is probably DOA, but nevertheless it's an option.
Haven't seen anyone that has a transferable Chem-II course, but as a ESET major I only need Chem-I and done...

Other than the two you are taking now, how many of the ASU courses did you end up getting done, Rachel?

SDC has chemistry 112L: chemistry 2 with lab. I think it's relatively new.
Edit: looks like SDC isn't an option right now.

I've completed: Astronomy, Human Origins, Western Civilization, Intro to Health & Wellness.
I'm currently doing Calculus, Precalculus, Intro to Programming, Computer Apps & IT, and Human Communication. But I think I'm dropping human communication so that I can focus more on my programming skills. Human Communication is a pretty easy class but it's still an effort that I could be putting towards other things. Like figuring out the stupid Gradarius system that ASU calculus uses.

According to the equivalency table, Chem 111L and 112L both come into TESU as CHE-101. Only 111L counts as chem with lab, though. No idea why.

Let me know when you get ready for the architecture assignment. I'll try to give you a few pointers to keep you from getting 'bogged' as the Aussies say. As has been mentioned before that is really the only course that has an assignment that isn't at all straightforward.
I finished my 9th page of the APS-401 capstone project today. So about 6 more to go. I'm pretty slow; a full page in a day is pretty good, sometimes it is only a half page. So you can see how there is no way I'm going to manage the LIB-495 papers. Too bad, I have everything for CS except discreet math but I either think the BS is better than BA or I'm just rationalizing because that's what I'm ending up with

Sidenote, if anyone wants to do the TESU 1 credit chem labs (CHE-128 or CHE-129), those kits (TE4251/4252/4253; I&II) ARE in stock at eScience Labs, along with the 1cr Physics labs...
Almost pointless to do SDC Chem labs since TESU won't count it as 4cr.

You got this! All of you finishing and closing in are a dream.
My parents told me college was a waste of time as a kid. They told me computers would never make me money.
