I got fed an ad for Claremont Lincoln, a regionally accredited, private nonprofit online school based in California. "Claremont Lincoln University (CLU) uses a Course-Based Cost Model where undergraduate students pay $270 per course, bringing the total cost of a 60-credit bachelor's completion program to $5,40"
Notably, this is significantly lower cost per RA class than ASU's Universal Learner (formerly Earned Admission) classes. I'm not sure how much flexibility or choice you can have in which classes you can take or when, but this program or if possible, individual classes, might meet the needs of forum users so I thought I'd share. When I get a little time, I will look into figuring out if I can carve out the time and money to enroll as a guinea pig to report on flexibility and process.
Note: I have no affiliation with this university and am not endorsing them nor selling services. Sharing for informational purposes only.

I was looking into them again a few months ago and totally forgot how affordable they are. This price model looks brand new too, which makes it an even better deal. Surprised they fly under the radar so much on here

That's a great cost, especially since they have a generous transfer policy
"All students must complete a minimum of 30 credits (25% of the degree) at CLU which includes the Claremont Core courses..... Transfer credit for undergraduate programs is capped at 75% of the total degree requirements, ensuring a substantial portion of the program is completed at CLU"

Thanks, Jonathan. Now I realize that I got my question answered, but don't have the encyclopedic knowledge of who accepts what to be able to know whether Claremont Lincoln is competitive in this regard!

This is somewhat local to me and I knew the person responsible for the school's initial accreditation endeavor. At that time, it was a graduate school without undergrad offerings. I am surprised to learn about the undergrad degrees and the alt credit pathways, because the person I knew would probably not be happy about this direction! Glad he no longer has a say
