At $19, the APA one looks like a bargain. Especially for students who plan to take a paper-heavy degree. I might just do that one myself.

That is a pretty good deal for extra practice for APA style writing, perfect to get people up to par/speed, especially those who need extra help with writing.
The other courses are good for cheap alternatives to free electives that can be used as RA credit for COSC/TESU.

It does look like there is a prereq for the APA course. Didn't look into it much more it is probably easy to waive though.

How did you find these? Did you have to search thru the whole catalog or is there an easier way to list in there?

Thanks for sharing!

Hi there. I am glad I found Clackamas Courses for online. I was looking for a one credit class for Piermont. I am currently taking Sophia Learning and need a one credit class for Piermont.

I might take the APA course myself at that price. All my essay experience is with MLA and I’m pretty sure the COSC capstone is in APA.

In the Fall 2024 course booklet, it shows Assertiveness, Stress Management and Self-Confidence at $149 each. Library Research is still $0. Math for High Purity Water is 1 credit at $149 and REM. Music Fundamentals is 3 credits online at $427. Intro to the Music Business is 3 credits online at $417. Cross-training, Yoga and some other physical education courses are 1 credit at $169. The APA course is still $19.

So there is still a little bit of low-hanging fruit.

Yeah, the only way to get more updated info is through their course catalog... It's interesting they kept the same pricing for a few of those classes... Note: I believe they're on the quarter credit system. The 1 credit may or may not work for your purposes, make sure they do before you take the class unless you're taking the APA class for extra help with APA and writing...
