Hi there,
I apologize if this question has been discussed previously, I tried searching but haven't come up with anything.
Does anyone know which accredited college (not ACE) has the cheapest online courses?
I am almost done my BA in Liberal Arts from Excelsior. Took multiple courses from Straighterline and Sophia, now I need a couple accredited prerequisites for other schools. Looking for the cheapest place to take those. I need a Bio-medical Ethics, Introduction to Computers, Theology Distribution, and Philosophy Distribution.
I'd appreciate any ideas! Thank you

Will the ASU EA CIS105 computer applications and information technology class work for your intro to computers requirement? For the term starting on the 18th it's just $99 and you get a real RA transcript.

Go head over to
https://ea.asu.edu/courses - they have Computer Applications and Information Technology - CIS 105 and Programming for Everyone: Introduction to Programming - CSE 110 that might work for your 'intro to computers'. They'll be $99 each if you start them on the 18th.
Otherwise, check here to find a school that has what you need:

Register to ASU now!
Registering process could take several days and you don't want to lose the promotion

Unfortunately not. It's a very limited set of classes - about 20 of them in total. It's a good selection of generic LL credit but it's not supposed to cover anything and everything a student might need. It's really only meant as a pathway to gain entry to ASU even if your test scores aren't the best. Thankfully, they let anyone and everyone take their classes and get an ASU transcript.

There are several Independent Study programs that provide classes for reasonable cost. My son used a few classes from CSU Pueblo Independent Study for his associates and the last time I checked they were $615 for 3 hr classes.

And another IS program that I have heard mentioned here is BYU INdependent Study. Their classes are under $600 for 3 credit hours.

These aren't cheap classes, but they have a good variety of UL classes and they end up being cheaper than our local CC. After fees, it is usually about $650 for a 3 hr class.

FHSU.edu is about $220 a credit and that's a 4 year university.
