Hi,
What is the cheapest RA accredited college that offers self-paced courses in English Compensation? I am trying to complete a degree and need something I can complete very quickly and easily.

CSU Pueblo @ $500
BYU independent study at about the same cost as CSU.
At around $300 you can pick from the independent studies courses at:
U of Idaho
U of Arkansas
LSU
They will all tell you as minimum of 8-12 weeks, though you can typically work through at a quicker pace.
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010
I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Can you take this course through Straighterline? Depending on how fast you can write and get through the exams it can cost you as little as $148 for one month or $197 if it takes you two. You then can either transfer directly to your college (Depending on if they are partnered with SL) or you can transfer it to ACE.

Straighterline is the reason I didn't get my degree a year ago. They lied about getting their courses accepted by CSUs on their website and it was denied for transfer to my CSU. I am taking another class, because my SL English class didn't transfer.

Did they specifically say on the website that English Comp II would be accepted by CSU? Are you talking about a Colorado State University - Global Campus or something else? Even TESC will not give credit for some SL courses and it says so on their credit transfer chart.

Their website specifically stated:
Our courses have been accepted by schools in the California State University system. They took off this comment after I complained that they were lying.

Straighterline used to have a list of schools that were reported to them by students to have accepted Straighterline courses. In cases like that, you should always contact your school to see if they'll accept a particular course. To say that their courses were accepted by the CSU system is not saying that all of their courses were accepted at the system or that their courses were accepted at every school in the system.

Yeah, it's not actually lying if it's true. It probably was true for someone else in the past.

I contacted all the Cal States they claimed to have accepted their credit and not a single one said that they ever accepted ACE or Straighterline credit. I think of that as them lying.
